Can Some Lucid Dreams be Unexplained Phenomena?

I had lucid dreams ever since I was a child. Perhaps, it all started when I was in kindergarten. I don’t fully recall the time they started, but I still remember being very young back then. One of my lucid dreams is actually a very unexplained form that occurred when I was nearing my teenage years. That’s why I am still not sure if it was a dream or something else because it’s intensity was too different from what I was used to.

I was standing near the porch of my grandmother’s house along with some of my close relatives when I saw two very large commercial aeroplanes fly through the yard. The aeroplanes made a dazzling show of their entire body as they flew too near the ground and even then I did not feel unnerved about the screeching sound that was being generated as their metallic bodies rubbed against the wind. I stood there dumbfounded as I watched the planes fly and heard my relatives whisper in surprise.

I have always strongly felt that all of this was real; and every time I review this incidence, I can’t explain the dream intensity and nature. For instance, I can easily believe even today that that pair of planes actually flew through grandma’s court while failing to recall that the court wasn’t large enough for these planes. In addition, two other aspects that strike me as peculiar are “the sense that these planes belonged to this portion of reality” and “the sharp and concrete forms of the objects” found in this scene. Was this another lucid dream or did I accidentally design something weird while awake?
