Some years ago, I started running this blog and a Twitter account; and, I made sure to comment about the state of Canada and link to relevant news article. Some people have directly or indirectly asked me why I am keen about doing this? And, the answer is pretty simple! “When I read some articles as well as compare some of this published content with my experiences or what I have heard from other people, I just felt that something was VERY VERY VERY WRONG.” I got focused on this gut feeling; and, then I was able to write and comment about some issues and link to some articles through my blog or Twitter. I mostly did this during my spare time or while I was hunting for a job or studying!
Today, I briefly reviewed Shauna Sylvester’s article, “Survey shows it’s time to sound the alarm over the state of Canada’s democracy“; this article was published in 2019. The survey results show that more than half of the Canadians feel ignored by the government whereas only 10% of the Canadians believe that they are living in a democratic country.
My telepathic guts worked again!
